#10 health care notice

           Dear parent or gardian, a child in our program has or is suspected of having Strep Throat.

This disease is spread by cough, sneeze, or breath.

The symptoms are a sudden sever sore throat, pain when you swallow, fever over 101, swollen tonsils and lymph nodes, and white or yellow spots on the back of a bright red throat.

This disease can be prevented by avoiding contact with people that have it and not sharing eating and drinking utensils.

To reduce the spread any child with the symptoms will be sent home rite away!

To reduce the spread at home do not share eating utensils or drinks and lots of hand washing.


If your child has any of the symptoms call your health care provider and be sure to tell them about this notice. If you do not a regular health care provider for your child, contact your health department for instructions on how to find one, or ask staff here for a referral.
